Bahrs Honored at 79th Annual Red River Valley Development Association Banquet

Vern and Judy Bahr, Humboldt, Minn., were honored at the 79th Annual Red River Valley Development Association (RRVDA) Honor Banquet at the University of Minnesota Crookston March 25, 2017.
The RRVDA is funded through annual allocations from the county boards of commissioners in northwest Minnesota. Gary Johnson, Humboldt, is the Director representing Kittson County on the RRVDA board.
The Bahr’s have two sons, Tyler and Evan Nordine.
They are members of Grace Lutheran Church, Hallock, Minn., where they have served on several boards. Vern also serves on the Clow Town Board, Humboldt Elevator Association, and the Kittson County Fairboard.
Judy volunteers at the Cornerstone Food Pantry, Hallock, and serves on the Kittson Memorial HealthCare Board and Auxiliary. Following high school, Judy attended Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake, N.D.
The Bahrs grow wheat, soybeans, and sugar beets on 1800 acres in Clow Township.
Future plans include retiring and enjoying some travel.
