Pembina, N.D. - Rodney Webster, 81, of Pembina, N.D. died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at his home in Casa Grande, Ariz.
Rodney Walter Webster was born March 25, 1931, the son of William and Clara (Moris) Webster at Hallock, Minn.  
He grew up on a farm near St. Vincent where he attended school, and graduated from the NW School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN in 1949.
He married Jean Anderson on April 1, 1950, in Crookston.  They lived in St. Vincent Township, Kittson County, Minn., where they farmed. They moved to Pembina in 1983.  They celebrated 51 years of marriage before Jean passed away.
Jan. 24, 2003, Rodney married Clarice (Wold) Gustafson of Oregon City, Ore. Rodney and Clarice enjoyed spending time with their great grandchild, grandchildren, children, siblings and friends.
He was a farmer and loved to visit. His main crops were sugarbeets, grain and beans but he was not afraid of trying new things.  He was a director for American Crystal, Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association, Minn-Dak Growers, several elevators and both the North Star Church and Pembina Evangelical Free Church.  
He enjoyed fishing and golfing in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife Clarice; a son, Gary (Lori), St. Vincent, Minn.; daughters, Julie Webster, Grafton, N.D., and Lori (Mark) Ellison, Elbow Lake; four grandchildren, one great grandchild, Clarice's children; a son, Wendell (Lisa) of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Joni (Walt) Moore, Vancouver, Wash., Jill (Burke) Chess, Oregon City, Ore., Jeri (Thom) Jones, Happy Valley, Ore., 11 grandchildren, sister Virginia (Barney) Duhacheck, Pequot Lakes, Minn. and brother Moris (Dianna) Webster of St. Vincent, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Jean and Clarice's son, Wesley.
Funeral services will be held Jan. 17, 2013, 10 a.m. Evangelical Free Church, Pembina. N.D. Visitation will be Jan. 16, 6-8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service,
Austin Funeral Home, Hallock, Minn. was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was held in the St. Vincent, Minn. cemetery.

Dear family of Rodney, so sorry to hear of Rodneys passing. Julie and Lori we knew you the best, please accept our sympathy. Another familiar face will be missing at the Free Church. Clarice we never became acquainted as the time you were in Pembina and us in Humboldt were very limited. so we remember the days from the 60's -90's the most. In God's Love Jim/Marilun
