Lancaster, Minn. - Robert “Bob” Quiner, 80, of Lancaster, Minn. died at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock  Nov. 18, 2013 from Parkinson’s Disease.  
Bob was born andraised on the family farm by the banks of the Two River near Lancaster April 13, 1933 to Raymond and Ruth (Ristad) Quiner.  
He attended school in Lancaster and the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, Minn.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. On Aug. 26, 1955 he was united in marriage to Luella Isaacson at Sion Lutheran Church in Lancaster. Bob was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Sion, where he was an active member.  
Bob and Luella raised their family and operated the Quiner farm where he grew up.  In addition to farming, he was a school bus driver in the Lancaster School for 36 years.  He was a member of the American Legion, Lancaster Lions, North Star Square Dance Club and Lancaster Golf Course.  Bob also enjoyed camping at Lake Bronson State Park with his children, grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include Luella, his wife of 58 years; three children, Mark (Julie), Chanhassen, Minn., Mary Beth (Charles) Dziengel, Kennedy, Minn. and Kris (Mike) Faken, Lancaster; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a brother, Gale (Shirley) Quiner, Hallock; a sister, Beverly Olson, Wisconsin and a sister-in-law, Joanne Quiner, Hallock.  
Bob was preceded in death by his son, Blake; a brother, Allan Ray; brother-in-law, Jerry Olson; and parents.  
Funeral services were held Nov. 22, 2013 at Sion Lutheran Church,  Lancaster.  
Interment was in Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery, Lancaster.  
Rev. Melodi Hagen, presided with special music provided by St. Patrick’s Choir. Pallbearers were Bob’s grandchildren.  Military honors were accorded by the Lancaster American Legion.  
Austin Funeral Chapel of Hallock was in charge of arrangements.
