Hallock, Minn. - Ray Keena, 64, of Hallock, Minn. and formerly of Cavalier, N.D. died Nov. 20, 2013, at the Kittson County Memorial Hospital, Hallock.
Funeral services were held Nov. 23, 2013 at Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier. Burial was held in the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, N.D.
Ray was born Jan. 7, 1949 to William and Sara (Anderson) Keena in Grafton, N.D.
He grew up and attended school in the Hamilton area. He worked for Page Farms and Olson Motors. He owned and operated Ray’s Auto Sales. Ray enjoyed racing horses and worked for Farm and Fleet in Moline, Ill. until retirement.
Nov. 14, 1967 he married Colleen Rickbeil. Feb. 25, 2002 he married Carol Buster at Rock Island, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; children: Connie Aasand (Steve Rundell) , Thief River Falls, Minn., and Scott (Corin) Keena, Cavalier; grandchildren: Brandi Aasand; Chantelle and Matthew Keena; great-grandson: Reed Aasand; siblings: Maxine (Marvin) McIntyre, San Jose, Calif., Rodney (Shirley) Keena, Midland, Texas, Sharon (Dale) O’Hara, and Bill Keena, all of Cavalier; brother-in-law Dale Rowe, Eau Claire, Wis.
Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Audrey Rowe.
Rev. Mark Chepulis officiated with pallbearers Wes Argue, Bob Grube, Jeff O’Hara, Bert Olson, Rodney Olson, Steve Rundell.
