Doris Moose
Bismarck, N.D. - Doris Moose, age 86, died Oct. 20, 2012, at Bismarck, N.D.
Doris was born Aug. 1, 1926, at Cavalier, N.D., to Gustav and Beatrice (Rickbeil) Baier.  She grew up in the St. Thomas and Glasston area.
She married Gustav Henschel Oct. 18, 1944, and moved to Michigan. She was widowed on Nov. 11, 1954.  She married Lloyd Moose July 27, 1957, and farmed with him in the Stephen, Minn., area.  They retired to Fertile, Minn., in 1983. Lloyd died March 1, 1993. She moved to Grand Forks after his death. She then relocated to Bismarck in 2007.
She was active in the VFW Auxiliary, 4-H Leader, and the St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Donaldson, Minn.
She is survived by her children, Howard (Nancy) Henschel, Laramie, Wyo., Connie (Lavern) Hamre, Thief River Falls, Minn., Betty (Dr. James) Lessard, Grand Forks, N.D., Harold Moose, Stephen, Minn., Maryann (Rev. Ron) Gold, Dickinson, N.D., Myrtle (Eric) Turnquist, Wayzata, Minn., and Carol (Scott) Houser, Bismarck, N.D. She has 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Gustav and Lloyd; one infant son, John; three sisters, Grace, Alvina and Evelyn; and one brother, Carl.
 Funeral services were held Oct. 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Steve Sathre officiated. Cremation has occurred and she will be buried at Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Neche, N.D.
