Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center is proud to announce the transition of Ashley Rivera to Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Rivera comes to Kittson Memorial with a vast amount of experience in healthcare administration both as a CEO and a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rivera assumes the CEO position from Cindy Urbaniak, who has been in the role since February 2014, as Urbaniak is and has been looking forward to serving more closely her passion of patient care.
When Rivera was hired as CFO, Urbaniak felt that he possessed many of the traits and skills to lead Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, in order for her to transition and continue serving in the capacity of Nursing Home Administrator, Clinic Manager for both Hallock and Karlstad Clinics, as well as the Director of Public Health for Kittson County, which is her true passion.
Urbaniak has appreciated serving in the capacity of CEO. She is excited about working with Rivera to strategically position the organization to continue to provide professional, caring, and quality healthcare to the community.
Rivera holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Ariz., a Masters of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Rivera has previously served in other leadership capacities that encompassed CFO and CEO roles.
Rivera and his wife Shannon have two daughters, Addison, age 5, and Emory, age 2. They are also expecting a third daughter in July.
The Kittson Memorial Board of Directors is proud to announce that Ashley Rivera has accepted the position of CEO. This position will be added to his current position of CFO, as he will be serving in the capacity of CEO/CFO. The board of directors and Urbaniak welcomes Rivera and his family to the community.
