Lake Bronson Lions hold 33rd annu8al Fishing Derby

     The Lake Bronson Lions held their 33rd annual Fishing Derby Feb. 11 at Lake Bronson State Park.
     The cold weather did not keep 268 people from participating. Registering for the tournament were 201 adults and 67 chilcren.
     The Two River Sportsmans Club donated a lifetime fishing license for one registered child, which was won by Ben Anderson.
     They also donated a $250 cash prize for the total weight of three northerns caught. Spencer Billings received this price.
     First place walleye with a prize of $150 went to Virgil Lindstrom at 1.35 pounds.
Brad Engen claimed first place and $100 for his 5.10 pound angled northern. Second place and $75 went to Jesse Coffield  with a weight of 2.95; third place  and $50 to Steve Mantei for 2.35.
     Spencer Billings took first and second place, and $75 and $50, respectivly, for his 4.15 and 4.0 pound speared northerns.
     Amelia Larson took first place and $50 for the angle perch at .9 pounds, Ben Anderson $40 for his .85 pound perch; and Sawyer Billings $30 for his third place perch at .80 pounds.
     In the Raffle Drawing Andrew Kieffer won $500, Brian Wileski, $300 and Brent Klegstad $200.
