Kittson County Hospice to sponsor conference on effective caregiving

Kittson County Hospice will be sponsoring an all day conference entitled “Effective Caregiving, Healthy Practices, and Strong Teams” on Thursday, Oct. 24 at Maria Lutheran Church in Kennedy, Minn.
The conference will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m., focusing on the paradigm necessary for effective caregiving; effective practices for caregiver self-care; tools for total health; and team building strategies.
The presenter for the day is Tim Denney, MS, CRC, from Level 5 Services in Crookston.
Anyone involved with caregiving is welcome and encouraged to attend. This conference is presented as a public service by Kittson County Hospice.
There is no charge for the conference.  However, non-hospice volunteers will be asked for a minimal fee to cover the cost of the noon meal.
Area clergy and all Kittson County Hospice staff and volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend.
Medical professionals, funeral directors, caregivers and anyone from the general public are most welcome.
Six continuing education credits are available upon request. Advance registration is required.
