Superintendent Jaszczak talked about Ms. Younggren wanting to scale back from the FTE percent and just do the FACS part. He is planning to advertise for .42 FTE in January. Hopefully this person will have a flexible schedule. The goal is to have early invention with Dyslexia to teach students skills to better manage it. Next month is organizational meeting and he would like to set up a strategic planning committee with 2 board members on it. This committee would help with planning for retiring teachers in the specialty areas and college in the classroom. There was an email from Newsweek about our school being listed in the upper level category in STEM education. VEX robotics is funding a drone based project and asking Kittson Central to be a participant.
