The Board of Education of #2171 met in regular session March 25, 2020  at 7:00 p.m. in an online Zoom meeting.  Members present were Mike Sugden, Crisa Mortenson, Mike Olsonawski, Amanda Pinnock, Eric Ristad, Matt Kuznia and Mark Johnson.  Also present were Superintendent Jaszczak, Mark Christenson, Kim Jones, Margie Holmgren and Amanda Younggren.
The meeting was called to order by Superintendent Jaszczak. The agenda was approved by Pinnock, seconded by Mortenson. Motion carried.  Minutes from February 19, 2019 were presented.  Motion to accept minutes by Ristad,  second by Olsonawski.  Motion carried.  The bills having been audited and found correct were ordered to be paid. Post payment bills (hand payables) were approved for $29,982.98.  Prepayment bills of $43,173.35.  Activity Fund prepayments of $1,558.38.  Payroll Electronic Fund Transfers in the amount of $240,319.90, Payroll Checks in the amount of $40,849.31.

on a motion to approve by Mortenson, seconded by Kuznia.  Motion carried.
A resolution to ratify sale of real property was presented. Motion was made to approve by Johnson, seconded by Olsonawski. Roll call vote was held with all present voting in favor. Motion carried.
Jaszczak suggested converting regular board meetings to teleconference until the Covid pandemic is over. Ristad made a motion to approve, Pinnock seconded. A roll call vote was held with all present voting in favor. Motion carried.
Superintendent Jaszczak discussed the distance learning plans which will be a work in process, but are ready to start Monday. Current plans are for distant learning until April 30th with classes tentatively resuming in person May 5th. The parking lot abatement was briefly discussed with more information to come next month. Plans for the class of 2020 activity account funds were discussed. MDE is still working on what will be allowed this year. After more information is available the students will determine how the money will be spent.
Next meeting is April 29th at 8pm.
Motion to adjourn Olsonawski, second Johnson.  Motion carried.
