NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
on
APPROVAL OF PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Kittson County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,  May 19th, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., at the Kittson County Courthouse, located at 410 5th Street South, in the City of Hallock, Minnesota, relating to the use of property tax abatement for costs associated with the construction of two townhomes in the City of Hallock, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.1812 to 469.1815, inclusive, as amended.  The total amount of County tax abatements will not exceed $7,500 collected over a period of ten (10) years, commencing with taxes payable 2021.  The following tax parcel is to be included in the proposed tax abatement:
Parcel ID:  32.0184000
Copies of the Abatement Resolution as proposed to be adopted will be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the County Administrator at the Kittson County Governmental office.
All interested persons may appear at the hearings and present their view orally or in writing.
