NOTICE OF HEARING – MIDDLE-SNAKE-TAMARAC RIVERS WATERSHED

Notice of hearing
Pursuant to Chapter 103D.911 of the Minnesota Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers of the Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for 2021 at 10:00 A.M., August 17, 2020, at the District office, 453 North McKinley Street in Warren, Minnesota.
The following is a summary of the proposed budget for 2021:

In addition, an ad valorem tax of 0.048360 percent of taxable market value for 2020, collectible in 2021, will be levied on all taxable property within the district in accordance with provisions Minnesota 1976 Session Law, Chapter 162, Sec 1; as amended by laws of 1982, Chapter 474, sec 1; laws of 1983, Chapter 338; and laws of 1989 First Special Session, Chapter 1, Article 5, Sec 45 and in accordance with said statute, one half of this levy will remain in the district for the development, construction and maintenance of projects and programs of benefit to the District and the other half of the levy will be sent to the Red River Watershed Management Board for the development, construction and maintenance of projects and programs of benefit to the Red River Basin.
Interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and express their views.
