Lancaster students gain more confidence at leadership summit

Last week, Lancaster’s sophomore class gained even more leadership skills at an annual conference in Thief River Falls.
Assistant Principal Drew Kjono, who also serves as the Lancaster School’s activities director, chaperoned the class of five to the TeamUp Summit at the Ralph Engelstad Arena. The event is hosted by the Region 8A group, which brought in Craig Hillier as the speaker.
“He is very good at what he does,” Kjono said. “He’s very entertaining, energetic and presents a very good message to the kids about how they can bring some of the skills they learn to be better leaders in their schools.”
