Elsie Nelson, 88

Elsie Nelson, 88, passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2022.
She was born and raised in northern Minnesota.
She met the love of her life, Clare, whom she married in 1958 and enjoyed 55 years of wedded bliss with him before his passing.
They lived in Hallock, Minn., before moving to Gunnison, Colo., after retiring and spent their time together enjoying fishing, traveling, trips into the woods to cut firewood and spending time with their family and friends.
In her later years, she moved to Texas to be near her daughter and sister.
She is survived by: her son, Jon (Layne) Nelson; her daughter, Jacki Strack; her grandchildren, Bradley (Erin) Nelson, Cassidy (Kyle) Sanderson, Clay (Mary) Strack, Dillon (Kelsie) Strack; four great-grandchildren, Lilah and Emery Nelson, Brooke and Paige Sanderson.
Her life will be celebrated in Colorado in June 2023.
