Mary Jean Swenson Holland, 91

Mary Jean Swenson Holland, 91, passed away on Nov. 16, 2022.
She was the daughter of Arthur and Alma Swenson, Kennedy, Minn., born Aug. 14, 1931.
Her forever home, is a wonderful place, where she’ll be able to dance with her family and friends, drink wine and eat lefse, with a lot of butter…anytime. She never met a stranger. Having moved frequently, due to her husband’s job with the airline, home was where her heart was.
She met and entertained several famous people; however rich or poor, famous or not, she treated everyone with the same love and respect, she loved people and life.
Her home and heart were always open to anyone who wanted or needed it.
She was an amazing person who will be missed by many, including: her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Steve Simpson; granddaughter, Lindsay and her husband, Chad Mackey and their three children, Baylee, Avery and Sailor; She also had two sons, David and Tom Holland; and grandsons, Sam and John.
There will be a private celebration of life, celebrated in “Mary’s” style. If you would like to honor her life, she would say toast her with a glass of wine, do an act of kindness or donate to an animal shelter. She totally loved and lived life to the fullest and would say, “Remember me with smiles and laughter.”
