NOTICE OF ROAD VACATION HEARING
HILL TOWNSHIP
KITTSON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the town board of Hill Township, Kittson County, Minnesota, will conduct a public hearing on June 14, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. The hearing will begin at the intersection of 140th Ave. and C.A.H. 59 in Kittson County, Minnesota, recess, and reconvene at 1729 310th St., Hallock, Minnesota, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a resolution calling for the vacation of the following described road:
140th Avenue, beginning at a point on the west boundary of Section Thirty-three (33), Township One Hundred Sixty-two (162) North of Range Fifty (50) West to C.A.H. 59 at or near the Northwest corner of Section Thirty-three (33), Township One Hundred Sixty-two (162) North of Range Fifty (50) West, beginning approximately 0.33 mile in length.
All persons interested in this matter are encouraged to attend the hearing.
The Tracts of land through which said road passes and the owners and occupants thereof, as nearly as we can determine, are as follows:

Section Thirty-two (32) Township One Hundred
Sixty-two (162) North, Range Fifty (50) West.
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter (SE1/4 NE1/4), of Section Thirty-two (32),
Township One Hundred Sixty-two (162) North,
Range Fifty (50) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
according to the Government Survey thereof,
consisting of six (6) acres and more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the northeast
corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter (SE1/4 NE 1/4) and extending due south 16
rods; thence due west 60 rods; thence due north 16
rods; thence due east to the place of beginning, all in
Section Thirty-two (32), Township One Hundred
Sixty-two (162) North, Range Fifty (50 West of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, according to the
Government Survey thereof.
