The annual Hallock Alumni Golf Tournament held Friday, July 21 at Two River Golf Course brought in 99 golfers, 42 of which were hockey alumni. The tournament raised approximately $6,700 for Hallock Senior Hockey, a group that supports the ice arena and youth hockey when needed.
The winning team consisted of Nick Lindegard, Brady Diamond, Alex Strege and Anders Lindegard. There was a three-way tie for the win using the teams’ handicaps to determine the winner. It took three holes to find the winning handicap. Each team had a score of -18.
The other two teams were: Rod Hennen, Hayden Hennen, Tyler Hennen and Colton Friesen, and Landon Sugden, Calvin Hanson, Adam Gustafson, Ganon Kuznia and Izyk Strege.
Second Flight winners: First — Nick Kennedy, Blair Younggren, Robert Ryden and Levi Pearson; Second — Olsonawskis; Third — Soliahs and Diamonds.
The mixed team winners were Jackson and Shunay Soliah, and Ty and Madyson Diamond with a score of -10.
The all-women team winners were Lindsay Lindgren, Brittany Anderson, Molly Whitlock and Chasidi Plaine with a score of +4.
The teams also played games on the course like cornhole, sauce toss and chipping into a hockey net. For each game, players earned points and received prize tickets for each point earned.
