Violet Dahlgren, 97

Violet Naomi Dahlgren, age 97, of Mahtomedi, Minn., formerly of Hallock, Minn., passed away on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, in Stillwater, Minn.
She is survived by: daughters, Becky Griffin (Dennis), Janna Affeldt (Craig), Deb Pearson (Scott); grandchildren, Anne Carlson (Ben), Blake Parsons (Katie), Brad Affeldt (Jenny), Jane Anderson (Todd), Nina Moore (Josh), Erin McLean (Doug); great-grandchildren, George and Sylvie Carlson, Owen Parsons, Jack, Christian and Lauren Affeldt, Drew and Allie Anderson, Vincent and Elise Moore, Shannon, Maisie, and Tessa McLean. Also survived by brother, Daniel Peterson and sisters, Eunice Folland, Alice Joy Johnson and Dian Erickson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Verne Dahlgren; parents, Alf and Florence Peterson; brothers, Ray, Delpho and Philip; sister, Doris; and great-granddaughter, Aimee Rose.
Funeral service for Violet will be on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd. in Mahtomedi at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Hallock on Saturday, Sept. 30, 11 a.m..
