Dust Storm!

HORRENDOUS WINDS coupled with dry conditions caused several days of heavy dust-filled air the week of May 11 in Kittson County. The dust was so thick at times, the water tower in Hallock disappeared. Here is a shot down Birch Avenue to the south. On a typical day, one can see the hospital in this frame. (Enterprise photo by Anna Jauhola)
