Lancaster School holds NHS induction ceremony

On Sept. 15, the Lancaster National Honor Society (NHS) held its annual induction ceremony, welcoming four new members into its ranks. New members are Emmi Neumiller, Scout Nordin, Karsynn Peterson and Lily Zhou.
With the addition of these outstanding sophomores, the Lancaster NHS chapter now boasts a total of 18 members, a group recognized for excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.
The current NHS members include:
Seniors: Ellie Bernstrom (Historian), Gavin Johnson, Hadley Nordin (Secretary), Brock Scalese, Brody Scalese (President), Izzy Swenson (Treasurer), Melody Voeltz, Kasey Waling, Courtney Webster
Juniors: James Cerkowniak, Kellen Johnson, Eli Peterson, Marylee Peterson, Samuel Webster (Vice President)
Sophomores: Scout Nordin, Emmi Neumiller, Karsynn Peterson, and Lily Zhou.
The ceremony featured guest speaker Macy Cosley, who shared a powerful message encouraging members to carry the values of NHS: service, leadership, character and scholarship, beyond high school and into their future.
