Postal pickup cut down to once a day

News this morning reached our office that mail is only being picked up once a day now at not only the Hallock Post Office, but post offices across the region. On that note, the Enterprises to be mailed out even within Kittson County, were not picked up until this morning – Wednesday, April 29. This means papers on routes and at post offices outside Hallock/Kennedy won’t reach your mailboxes until Thursday or Friday from now on. Hallock/Kennedy ZIP codes should continue to arrive on time. PLEASE contact your state and federal representatives and voice your opinion on the reduction in our mail delivery —
REP. JOHN BURKEL – 888-727-0979
SEN. MARK JOHNSON – 651-296-5782
SEN. AMY KLOBUCHAR – 218-287-2219 (Moorhead office)
SEN. TINA SMITH – 218-284-8721 (Moorhead office)
REP. MICHELLE FISCHBACH – 218-422-2090 (Moorhead office)
If you care about the postal service, which is called the postal SERVICE for a reason, please call your representatives. What will happen to rural America if we can’t get reliable mail and package delivery?
