KCC 13 — NCE-UH 3
The KCC Bearcats triumphed over the NCE-UH Titans 13-3 at the baseball complex in Kennedy on Monday, May 20. In a game that showcased stellar pitching by KCC’s Brock Scalese, he guided his team to victory with a nice performance on the mound.
The Bearcats’ hitting lineup came out swinging, delivering an impressive total of 14 hits throughout the game. The Bearcats were led in that department by Eli Peterson and Kellen Johnson with 3 hits a piece, while Eli Muir chipped in 2 hits as well.
The Bearcats’ offense was consistently putting pressure on the Titans’ defense. In contrast, the Titans struggled to find their rhythm at the plate, managing only 4 hits against KCC’s formidable pitching and defense.
While both teams displayed determination and skill, it was KCC’s ability to capitalize on opportunities that ultimately sealed their victory. KCC 0 — LOW 7
The KCC Bearcats fell to the Lake of the Woods Bears in tough diamond action on Thursday, May 23 in Kennedy. LOW scored 3 runs in the sixth inning and 4 more in the seventh to secure the road win over the Bearcats.
