Gjesdal takes first at state trap shoot

Esther Gjesdal placed first in the Novice Female Division at the state trap shooting meet last week, scoring 76/100.
KCC Top placers in each division:
Novice Female: Esther Gjesdal scoring 76/100; 1st place.
Novice Male: Alex Peterson scoring 74/100; 13th place.
JV Male: Trapper Jensen scoring 88/100; tied for 5th place.
JV Female: Tenley Hemmes scoring 74/100; tied for 21st place.
Varsity Male: Henry and Guilford Finney both scoring 95/100; tied for 6th place.
Varsity Female: Haley Wilson scoring 87/100; 13th place.
The KCC Trap Kids will serve a meal during Lancaster Heritage Days on Thursday, June 27 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Community Center. They are fundraising for the National Trap Shoot in Lansing, Mich.
The following six kids have qualified for the opportunity: Guilford Finney, Henry Finney, Willie Nelson, Alex Kuzel, Clarence Przekwas and Haley Wilson.
