Henry Finney takes third in national trap shoot in Michigan

The KCC Trap Shooting Team shot in the National Tournament on Friday, July 12. They placed 107 out of 261 teams with a score of 457/500.
Henry Finney shot 100 straight. Gil Finney Shot 99/100 with 75 straight. Alexander Kuzel 94/100 with 50 straight. Willie Nelson shot 88/100 with 25 straight. Clarence shot 76/100.
Saturday, July 13 was the individual shoot. Henry Finney shot 100 straight again and advanced to the Sunday, July 14 finals.
Gil Finney shot 98/100 with another 75 birds straight, and also advanced to the Sunday finals.
Kuzel shot 95/100. He ranked 443rd out of 1,479 top shooters in the nation. He shot 25 straight.
Nelson shot 93/100, and was ranked 648 out of 1,479 top shooters.
Haley Wilson shot 89/100. She ranked 149 out of 256 top female shooters in the nation. She also shot 25 straight. This is her first year shooting.
Clarence Przekwas shot 88/100. He ranked 1,064 out of 1,497 top shooters in the nation.
Sunday, July 14 was the finals shoot for team and individuals.
The Finney boys both shot 100 straight. They advanced along with 13 other athletes for the shoot off. Gil finished off the season ranked 15th in the nation. Henry continued to shoot until there were three shooters left. Then the shooters stepped out to the 27-yard line and started shooting from there. Henry Finney took third.
