Scalese and Nordin nominated for ExCEL awards

Brody Scalese and Hadley Nordin were nominationed for the ExCEL award for Lancaster High School.
The Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership award is given through the Minnesota State High School League. The award is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for high school juniors who are active in school activities, show leadership qualities and work voluntarily in their community.
Scalese is the son of Jim and Alana Scalese. He is active in the basketball, football and baseball programs, is the vice president for the National Honor Society, an award winner in Knowledge Bowl, and an active member of our band. He is also busy with volunteering for the FCCLA, and is a participant in youth group. He does all of this while keeping up his academics and is currently one of the top students in his class.
Hadley Nordin is the daughter of Matthew and Lane Nordin. She is a strong member of our volleyball and basketball programs. She works hard in the classroom, striving to do her best in all of her classes. She is in youth group, Knowledge Bowl and she is a member of our National Honor Society.
