Unwind in Hallock a way to reset before spring

By Anna Jauhola
As the long winter months often drag into early April, the Hallock Mainstreet Committee wanted to host one more winter event.
Unwind in Hallock will feature several relaxing, hygge-focused activities such as yoga, self-care lessons, fika time and crafting.
“We’re really trying to focus on being content in Hallock in the winter,” said Brooke Klein, Mainstreet Committee member and organizer. “Just being content with what we have here and with yourself, and just unwinding and relaxing.”
Kailey Younggren, another Mainstreet Committee member who helped organize the event, said they wanted to really lean into the reset mentality of the first few months of the year. Although March is busy, it is also a good month to take a little time for yourself. One exciting aspect of this event is that the passport cards are back. Younggren said the passport cards will be available for pickup at any participating location that day. There are 18 stamps to get, but you only need 10 stamps to be entered into a drawing for a gift basket at the end of the day.
