Dina M. Satterlund, 74

God brought our beautiful and loving mother and beloved wife into this world Nov. 2, 1950, and God took her home Nov. 2, 2024, with her loving family hand-in-hand, praying her into the arms of Jesus, setting her completely free from all the pain and suffering from pancreatic/liver cancer.
Dina M. Satterlund, 74, was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Warren, Minn., the daughter of the late Lynn and Elaine (Jorgenson) Benson. She grew up and graduated from Stephen High School. She attended Concordia College and Moorhead Area Technical College, both in Moorhead, Minn.
She was united in marriage to Ted Barta of Pisek, N.D., on Sept. 4, 1971, and they had three children together. On July 5, 1997, Dina married Charles Satterlund at Oak Island, Minn. They lived in Kennedy, Minn., Drayton and Grafton, N.D.
She worked as an administrative assistant at the Developmental Center and also worked at the Walsh County Heritage Village for many years, and Marvins.
She enjoyed dancing, gardening, doing crafts and playing Bingo with her friends. In the summer she enjoyed going to the lake, fishing and spending time with the kids and grandkids.
Dina is survived by: her husband Chuck Satterlund; children: Chad (Mel) Barta, Kristin (Shawn) Meschke, Pat (Jade) Barta, Chad (Carrie) Satterlund, Nathan (Jaci) Satterlund; and her nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; siblings: Doris (Doug) Haugen, Bob (Mavis) Benson and Al Benson.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter-in-law Laura Satterlund; granddaughter, Heidon Barta; grandson, Cooper Satterlund; brother, Rodger Benson; and sister-in-law, Denise Benson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Inurnment will be at the Stephen Cemetery, Stephen, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Valley Ambulance.
