Diana Webster, 99

Diana Webster, 99, of St. Vincent, Minn., passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Kittson Memorial Nursing Home, Hallock, Minn., under the care of HIA Hospice.
Diana Ziesman was born May 1, 1926, in Korosten, Russia, (now Ukraine), to Ludwig and Olga Ziesman. When she was 6 months old, her parents, grandparents, and 5-year-old brother immigrated to Canada and settled in Morris, Manitoba, Canada.
Through the years, three sisters and three brothers were added to the family. Two brothers died in infancy, due to illness. Diana had to quit school after sixth grade to help out with support for the family. Diana worked for some farm families, helping with child care, cooking and taking care of farm animals. As she got older, Diana worked in homes, doing domestic work, including cooking, cleaning and doing nanny work.
On Dec. 18, 1948, Diana married Moris Webster of St. Vincent, and became an American citizen. Moris farmed with his brother, Rodney, and later added a trucking business. Diana loved gardening raising both vegetables and beautiful flower gardens. She was a stay-at-home mother, and raised three children — June, Keith and Dale. In later years, Moris and Diana wintered in Mesa, Ariz. Moris died in November of 2018. Diana moved to the Hallock nursing home at that time due to dementia.
Diana is survived by: a daughter, June (Dwight) Anderson of Kindred, N.D.; sons, Keith (Bev) of Tok, Alaska, and Dale (Judy) of St Vincent.; a sister, Evelyn of Grand Forks, N.D.; a brother, Edward (Carol) of British Columbia, Canada; a brother-in-law, Barney (Joyce), Hamel, Minn.; grandchildren, Ken (Sarah), Barry (Melissa), Della, Lisa, Hailey (Jake), and Noah (Victoria); nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several extended family members.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Moris; two sisters, Emily and Elsie; a brother, Herman; brother-in-law, Rodney, and his wife, Jean; sister-in-law, Virginia; two infant brothers; an infant child; and a grandson, Jeremy Anderson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Austin Funeral Chapel, 326 S. Atlantic in Hallock.
