Kittson Central School gets positive audit report

By Margie Holmgren
Kittson Central board members received a positive audit report on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from Amanda Scanson of Brady Martz.
Scanson shared key points in the audit with the board.
“There weren’t very many changes from last year,” she noted. “Your revenues are up slightly $5.3 million from $5 million last year but that’s due to being up by nine students.”
Expenditures were also up to $5.2 million from $5 due to ongoing projects and some changes in contracts, she explained.
She complemented them on doing a good job creating their budget with the overall difference of 2.5%.
