Anthony ‘AJ’ Driscoll, 56

Anthony “AJ” Driscoll, 56, of Lancaster, Minn., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Anthony “AJ” Driscoll was born Aug. 8, 1969, in Grand Forks, N.D., to JoAnn (Austin) and Patrick Driscoll. He graduated from Alvarado High School in 1988. He attended East Grand Forks Technical College and obtained his CDL.
On June 15, 2002, AJ was united in marriage to Katie Elizabeth Pearson. They moved in July 2003 to Hallock, Minn. In January 2019, they moved to Lancaster. AJ worked for Joliette Ag/Hefty’s Seed in Joliette, N.D., for 15 years.
AJ was a very heartwarming and loving person. His family was his everything. His laugh and craziness lit up the room. AJ loved his competitive sports. If you didn’t see him winning at bean bags or darts, he would challenge you to a game of bowling or pool. He loved his ice fishing weekend with his guys. AJ’s dance moves, especially to “Cotton Eye Joe,” were electrifying.
AJ had a great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh.
AJ is survived by: his wife, Katie; and his three children, Aimee Lynn (Driscoll) Homstad (Jared) Park River, N.D.; Kaitlin Grace, (significant other, Lucas) Larimore, N.D., and Gavin John, Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, Brystol, Brynlee and Quinn Homstad; and siblings, Patrick Jr. (Lori) Sturgeon Lake, Minn., Victoria Stahl (Mike) Valley City, N.D., Julie Delude (Gale) Oklee, Minn., Betty Campbell, Omaha, Neb., Paulette Upright (Greg) Marion, Texas, Timothy Driscoll (Trijntje) Zwolle, Netherlands, Bridgette Campoverde (Marcelo), East Grand Forks, and Christopher Hendrickson, Kansas City, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and JoAnn.
Funeral services for A.J. will be held on Thursday, May 21 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Community Center. Interment will be in Sikar Cemetery at a later date.
