Lloyd Johnson, 86

Lloyd Lennert Johnson, 86 years old and life long resident of Hallock, Minn., passed away February 1, 2016 at Kittson Memorial Hospital.
Lloyd was born November 15, 1929 to Ole and Louise (Freid) Johnson in Hallock. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church (Hallock). He attended school in Hallock as well. Even when he was young, he was known for his love of farming and being a naturally gifted mechanic.
In the early 1950s, he was drafted into the Army where he served two years in the Korean War. On returning home from Korea, Lloyd farmed for a time with his brothers and later met and married Ramona Gudmundson. Lloyd continued farming on his own where he enjoyed passing on his life long knowledge and love of farming to his children and grandchildren.
Lloyd leaves behind his wife Ramona (Gudmundson); his daughters Lori-Lea Johnson and Lari-Ann (Jeffery) Englund; grandchildren Jamie Twamley, Jennifer (Chris) Paris, James (Meenu) Howland Jr., Jonathan (Hayley) Howland, Falyn Johnson, Taryn Ohmann and Jeffery Englund; great-grandchildren Katelyn and Joshua Twamley, Rylee Maurstad, Annah and Miguel Caraballo, Jenna Paris, Sydney and Adalyn Howland, Cooper and Tucker Howland and Kane Swenson; sisters-in-law Marjorie Johnson and Jeanette Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Warren and Louis Johnson, sisters and brothers-in-law Elsie and Elmore Bergh and Lavona and Al Lerdahl: Beloved sons Lloyd B. Johnson (Lloyd Jr.), Ryan Johnson, beautiful daughter Kathy Ann Johnson and great-granddaughter, Brianna Taylor
