Donald E. Bell, 82

  Donald E. Bell passed away  Monday, April 10, 2017, at home under the  weekly care of Altru Hospice, Warren Chapter, with his family by his side.
Donald was the son of Wesley and Sarah (Rankin) Bell. He was born May 8, 1934 and raised in Hill Township west of Hallock, Minn.
After finishing school, he joined the Navy and served four years aboard the U.S.S. Radford, D.D.E., finishing his tour as a Machinist Mate II Class. Don’s life work was as a semi-truck driver. He hauled many commodities including grain, anhydrous ammonia, sugar beets and fuel, traveling both locally and nationwide.
Left to mourn is Don’s wife of over 57 years, Louanna; two sons, James S., Keith D., all of Warren, and grandsons, Kyle (Tiffany), Warren and Nicholas, Trail, Minn.
Preceding Don in death were his parents and two brothers.
As per his wishes, a private family service was held.
