David Gorski, 55

David Gorski, 55, Pembina, N.D., and formerly of Lancaster, Minn., passed away at his home Monday evening, July 10, 2017.
David Allen Gorski was born May 14, 1962 at Hallock, Minn., to John and Florence (Olsonoski) Gorski. He was a 1980 graduate of Lancaster High School and went on to attend Northland Commun-ity College AVTI where he earned his degree in carpentry. David worked at Wilson’s Landscaping in Hallock for several years before taking a job at Motor Coach Industries in Pembina. He was still employed at MCI when he passed away and had been there for over 20 years.
David was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was an enthusiastic fan of Lancaster High School athletics.
He is survived by a sister, Dianne (Allen) Anderson, Thief River Falls, Minn.; nieces and nephews, Kari (Ryan) Sternisha, Zane (Alisha) Anderson, Holly Gaudreau, Darcy Roach, Tracy Roach, and Corey Roach; a great niece, Aubryanna and a great nephew, Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Daniel and a sister, Debra.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. Holy Rosary Catholic Church, rural Lancaster. Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Fr. Craig Vasek, presided; Sharlene Klegstad, organist. Casket bearers were nieces and nephews. Honorary casket bearers will be his co-workers at Motor Coach. Memorials are preferred to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or Lancaster Public School.
Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock, was in charge of the arrangements.
