Lucy (Brosdahl) Isakson, 92

Lucy (Brosdahl) Isakson, 92, Glendale, Ariz., and formerly of Kennedy, Minn., passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at D&M Assisted Living in Glendale.
Lucy was born on Oct. 24, 1925, the daughter of Basil and Mary Kropelnicki. She was united in marriage to Arnold Brosdahl on May 8, 1945. They made their home in Kennedy. Lucy was a hard worker – working many years at the Kiene Farms in Kennedy and at the Kittson Memorial Nursing Home in Hallock, Minn. Arnold passed away in May of 1986.
In September of 1993 she married Isak Isakson in Karlstad, Minn. Isak passed away in December of 2004. Lucy continued living in Kennedy until her moving to Glendale in 2000. She lived in several assisted living homes for the elderly until her passing.
Left to mourn her passing are her four daughters Shirley, Sandra, LucyAnn and Sally, along with their spouses; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister and six brothers.
Lucy was a member of Maria Lutheran Church in Kennedy for many years.
Services will be held  Thursday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m. at Maria Lutheran Church, Kennedy. Visition will be one hour prior to services.
