Kevin Scott Albrecht, 57, of Ringling, Mont., formerly of Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kevin was born March 23, 1961, in Minneapolis, the son of Howard and Mary (Cooper) Albrecht. Kevin graduated from Silver Lake High School Class of 1979. He served in the United States Navy from 1979 until his honorable discharge in 1985.
Kevin was formerly employed at Rawhide Meats in White Sulphur Springs, Mont., North Country Meats in Hallock, Littfin Lumber Company in Howard Lake, and Zanoth Meat Market in Silver Lake.
Kevin greatly enjoyed fishing, butchering, hunting, woodworking and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Kevin especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and playing practical jokes on anyone he could.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Jessi (Brad) Bening of Dassel, Minn.; son Aaron Albrecht of Hutchinson, Minn.; stepsons, Chad (Amy) Albrecht of Tracy, Minn., and Shaun (Moria) Albrecht of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ryeleigh, Ellie and Emma Bening of Dassel; special friend, Lou Swett and family of Ringling; siblings, Russell (Becky) Albrecht of Hutchinson, Jonathan (Chris) Albrecht of Brownton, and Donald (Kim) Albrecht of Hutchinson; and nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary (Cooper) Albrecht; maternal and paternal grandparents; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Tim Carrigan; and niece-in-law, Jessie Albrecht.
