Nathan Foss, 11

Nathan Foss, 11, of East Grand Forks, Minn., died Sunday, June 9, 2019, at his home.
Nate Foss was born May 8, 2008, in Grand Forks, N.D., the son of Darrin and Mary “Angie” A. (Martinez) Foss. He grew up in East Grand Forks and finished fifth grade at South Point Elementary School, East Grand Forks. He also owned and operated Nate’s Shaved Ice.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Foss, East Grand Forks; father, Darrin Foss, Lake Bronson, Minn.; brother, Reed Foss, Lake Bronson; grandparents, Mary Jane and Carlos Martinez, East Grand Forks, and Duella Foss, Hatton, N.D.; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Riley Foss, and grandfather, Donald Foss.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 17, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, N.D. Visitation was held for one hour prior to the services. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks.
