David Lawrence Doft, 76

David Lawrence Doft, 76, died Sept. 17, 2019, in a kayaking accident in Red Feather Lakes, Colo.
David was a man of amazing kindness, boundless energy and gentle humor. During his career as a school social worker in the St. Peter, Minn., area, he was a tireless advocate for at-risk children and helped countless young people navigate the treacherous seas of adolescence.
His funeral was on Sept. 29, 2019, at the Chapel in the Pines in Red Feather Lakes Colorado.

There will be a celebration of life gathering with his wife, Virginia Lea (Vagle) Doft, and son, Anthony Alan Doft, on Saturday, Oct. 19 at The Melva Lind Interpretive Center, 800 W. College Ave., St.Peter, MN, 56082.
