Mary Chrun, 71

Mary Chrun, 71, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Presbyterian Homes’ Johanna Shores assisted living facility in Arden Hills, Minn. — ironically, 17 years to the day after her father died on Sept. 5, 2004.
Mary was born on Dec. 19, 1949, in Stuttgart, Germany, and came to the United States with her family as a 1-year-old. Mary along with her family proudly became U.S. citizens on June 27, 1957. Mary attended school in Kennedy, Minn., until 1964 prior to the family moving to the Twin Cities.
Mary graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in 1967 and received an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1971. Mary was a career paralegal who worked for a bank trust company and law firms.
Mary loved traveling, quilting, knitting, reading, scrapbooking and letter boxing. Mary loved animals, especially Toby the cat. Mary was a loving and generous sister, aunt and great-aunt who will be cherished by all that knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by: her siblings, Michael (Dorothy) Chrun, John (Sherri) Chrun and Kathy (Donald) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Damon Chrun, Lisa Houchins, Michael Johnson, Peter Johnson, Kimberly Warren and Todd Chrun; grand nieces and nephews who Mary adored, Katelyn, Keith, Lauryn, Elliot, Ryan, Evelyn, Simon, Luke, Erin, Adam, Braun, Eric and Colbie.
Mary was preceded in death by: parents, Fedir (Fred) Chrun and Ewdokia (Dora) Chrun.
