Jeffrey Scott Christenson, 43
Jeffrey Scott Christenson, 43, passed away peacefully at his home in St. Paul, Minn., on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, after a gallant and commendable battle with leukemia.
Jeff was born Aug. 2, 1978. He was a loving and kind father, husband and friend to all. In passing, Jeff leaves behind his wonderful wife of 15 years, Bridget, and their children, Cecelia, 12; Margaret, 11; and Henrik, 8.
Jeff enjoyed singing and playing guitar, working on remodeling projects, biking with friends, watching soccer, going to live concerts, hanging out with his brothers and traveling with his family. He also loved engaging dialogue on Twitter with his poignant and witty commentary.
Jeff worked as a senior executive compensation consultant for A. J. Gallagher in Minneapolis.
He graduated from Spring Lake Park High School in 1996, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and juris doctorate from William Mitchel College of Law in 2003.
Jeff is also survived by: his parents, Robert and Susan Christenson of Blaine, Minn.; brothers, Christopher (Katie) Christenson of Minnetrista, Minn., Matthew (Sarah) Christenson of Blaine, and John (Heather) Christenson of Eagan, Minn.; his in-laws, Paul and Maureen Winberg of Red Wing, Minn.; sister-in-law Cristine (Jon) Wurm of Robbinsdale, Minn.; and 10 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Floyd and Peggy Sanner and Clifford and Irene Christenson, all of Lancaster.
A visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 4-8 p.m. at Willwerscheid Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Jeff’s life was held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 at Nativity of Our Lord Church. An additional visitation preceded the church service at 9:30 a.m.
Jeff’s story and faith will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
