Linda Clow, 79
Linda Clow, 79, of Hallock, Minn., passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
Linda Carolyn Hegman was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Aitkin, Minn., the daughter of Ezra and Stella (Forsmark) Hegman. She graduated from Aitkin High School in 1961. Linda went on to attend the University of Minnesota for two years. She worked as a key punch operator with the Billy Graham Association, Pillsbury Corporation and later with Briggs Trucking.
On Nov. 22, 1969, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Clow in Aitkin. The couple settled in Roseville, Minn., for two years before building a home in New Brighton, Minn. They began farming in 1978 when they moved to LeRoy’s family farm near St. Vincent, Minn.
Linda worked in the Hallock school system for several years and later worked part-time at GHY Brokerage and Mike’s Parcel, both in Pembina. Linda was a member of the Pembina Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed sewing and needlepoint and would spend most of her free time enjoying those hobbies. Linda will be dearly missed by her family.
She is survived by: her husband, LeRoy; two sons, Aaron (Marsha) Clow, East Grand Forks, Minn., and Todd (Gloria) Clow, Palmer, Alaska; two sisters, Geraldine Dunbar, Albuquerque, N.M., and Maria Dykstra, Worthington, Minn.; a brother, Glenn Hegman, Spooner, Wis.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Ralph; and an infant sister, Eleanor.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Pembina Evangelical Free Church. Interment will be at a later date in the St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.
