Timothy “Tim” Undeberg, 53
Timothy “Tim” Undeberg, 53, of Halma, Minn., passed away on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Halma.
Tim was born on Dec. 5, 1969, in Karlstad Minn., to Dwight and Sharon Undeberg. He was one of six kids.
Tim attended school in Karlstad, graduating in 1988. He went on to complete two additional years of school at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, Minn.
Tim married his sweetheart, Pam, on Sept. 14, 1996, in Greenbush, Minn. They went on to raise their three children and finally settled outside of Halma. Tim worked many, many jobs over the years but he always found his way back to driving truck. He had just recently purchased his dad, Dwight’s, truck and had been driving for Greg Hanson Trucking. He was so excited to be back doing what he loved.
Tim loved sharing a cup of coffee with Pam and watching the news every morning with his little sidekick, Teddy. He enjoyed hosting picnics and cooking for anyone that would come. He spent his free time riding his motorcycle, taking Pam on ranger rides, hunting and spending his winters riding snowmobile or ice fishing.
Tim was a proud grandpa to Kaden, Devin, Ivy-Lynn, Cora, Greta and Lily. He enjoyed spending time with the kids outdoors and spoiled them with any new toy he could get his hands on.
Tim is survived by: his wife, Pam, of 27 years; his sons, Levi (Renee) and Zach (Kadyn); his daughter, Ali (Keistin) Anderson; his dad, Dwight; his sister, Julie (Jon); his brother, Brian (Janelle); his mother-in-law, Mary Ann; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tim is preceeded in death by: his mother, Sharon; his sister, Kristi; twin sisters, Andrea and Angela; grandparents, Ivan and Bernice Olson and H.T. and Pearl Undeberg; father-in-law, Kenneth Johnson; as well as many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Halma Community Hall. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Lake Bronson, Minn. Visitation was held at the community hall for one hour prior to the service. Rev. Betty Johnson, presiding. Galen Nordin, Shane Olson and Vernon Lorenson, soloists. Casket bearers were Jamie Englund, Mike Ruud, Daryll Foss, Arnold Clark, Bradley Johnson and Bradley Braun. Honorary casket bearers were Roy Mantel, Kevin Sele, Shane Johnson, Jon Westling, Toby Silde, Randy Walsh and Cameron Holter.
