Larry Duane Balderson, 66

Larry Duane Balderson, 66, of Lake Bronson, Minn., passed away at home on Saturday, June 22, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Larry was born on July 20, 1957, to Darlene (Vagle) Balderson and Duane Balderson in Karlstad, Minn.
Larry grew up on the family farm in Poppleton Township and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1975. Larry joined the Army after high school. After his time in the Army, he worked for Keith Finney at the elevator in Lancaster and at the Lyberg and Diamond farms.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He never married but enjoyed spending time with his nephews and other family members.
Family members include: his sister, Roxanne Kulyk; niece, Lynette Steyn; nephews, Bradley and Jason Kulyk; grand-nephews, Caden, Dawson and Luann Steyn; and grand-niece, Rheagan Kulyk.
Larry was preceded in death by: his parents, Duane and Darlene; his brothers, Donavon Ray, Duane LaMar, Jr., and Neil; and his grandparents, Lawrence and Alta Balderson, and Art and Nellie Vagle.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Lancaster Covenant Church, Lancaster, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lancaster.
