Terri Christopherson, 64

Terri Christopherson, 64, of Lancaster, Minn., passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Terri Lynn Sorenson was born to David and Jean Sorenson on Nov. 24, 1959. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Terri attended Hallock High School and graduated in 1978. She went on to attend Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minn.
Terri married Byron Christopherson on April 19, 1980. The couple settled in Granville Township and farmed there to the present time. Terri was the proud owner of T & B Hardware in Lancaster for 24 years. After retiring from the hardware store, she had a lot time to enjoy her “prized possessions,” Parker and Levi. They are two boys who stole her heart, and they called her GRAM. When not chasing her grandsons, she enjoyed farming with her son, Carl.
Becky and Carl would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Kittson Healthcare Center, Altru Cancer Center, Pembina County Memorial Hospital and Hospice of the Red River Valley for the dedicated care and kindness given to Terri and her entire family.
Family members include: her daughter, Becky (Ed) Lehrke, Hallock; son, Carl, Lancaster; two grandsons, Parker Christopherson and Levi Lehrke; her father, David Sorenson; siblings, Todd, Julie, Jeff, Jodi, Dawn, Michelle; and sister-in-law, Tawnya.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Byron; and mother, Jean.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. in the Lancaster Sion Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held in the church for an hour before the service. Interment will be immediately following the service at Riverside Memorial Gardens in Lancaster.
