LaVonne Anderson, 87

Our sweet and loving LaVonne Jewel (Larson) Anderson peacefully entered the Heavenly Kingdom on Oct. 22, 2025, surrounded by family.
Lavonne was born May 29, 1938, to Axel and Olga Larson. She graduated from Warren High School in 1956 and married her forever love, Lowell Anderson in 1957. She received an associate degree in 1957 from the MN School of Business. However, her biggest career accomplishment was that of a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was well known for her talents including cooking, painting, designing, scrapbooking, was a master seamstress and never passed up a good deal on QVC. LaVonne was known for many things but, what she would want people to most remember her by was her love for Jesus and her unparalleled faith. She believed in the power of prayer and was a prayer warrior to many. Trying to describe LaVonne’s faith is impossible to put into words, however, anyone spending time with her was able to experience it. Always accepting, never complaining and finding meaning was her faith journey. She was a magnificent light that guided many through their darkest times. Our loss is truly heaven’s gain.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher, Peter (Rochelle), Angela (Dominic) and Andrew (Lynn); her grandchildren, Nicole (John), Rachel (Josh), Sara (Tim), Quintin (Shelby), Brooke, Finian, Bella and Axel; her great-grandchildren, RoseLin, Luther, Noah, Emma, Ava, Elijah, McKenna and Nolan; her daughter-in-law, Pam; her brother, Rodney; her sisters-in-law, Marion and Vicky; and friends too numerous to mention; we will have to wait patiently to be with her again.
She is preceded by: her beloved husband, Lowell; and two of her children, Steven and Tammy; her brother, Loren; and sister Marlene; and we are confident of a joyous reunion.
Our family would love to acknowledge the tremendous care she received at the Trouvaille Memory Care home during the last year of her life. She was surrounded by new friends and loving staff, and was treated like the Jewel she was until the very end. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Trouville Benevolence Fund so our parents and loved ones can continue to be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. Info at trouvaillehomes.com.
