Patra ‘Pat’ Gingrich, 87

Patra Ellen Lee (Nyberg) Gingrich, 87, of Casper, Wyo., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025.
She was born to parents Phillip and Alice (McKinney) Nyberg on Oct. 14, 1938, in Kennedy Minn. She was raised in Kennedy and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1957. Following graduation, she joined the United States Army on June 14, 1957. She proudly served in the Army where she met and married Gordon Coudret, and was honorably discharged on Oct. 13, 1958.
They moved to Virginia and eventually moved to Hallock, Minn., where Pat remained very busy and blessed raising her six children. Pat and Gordon divorced, and Pat later met and married Lon E. Gingrich in October 1996. They lived and worked in Rapid City, S.D., until retirement. At that time, they returned to Casper, Wyo., where Lon E. had been raised and took care of his aging mother until she passed. They were married until Lon E. passed in May of 2022.
She is survived by her brother Steven Nyberg; and children, Maxine Bailey, Joseph (Tonyia) Coudret, Phillip Coudret, Raymond (Sherry) Coudret, Michelle (Frankie) Sanchez and Tara (Forrest) Nuzum; brother-in-law, Orin Coltom; and two nephews. She was also survived by 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Patra was preceded in death by her parents Phillip and Alice Nyberg, and sister Lavon Coltom.
Pat enjoyed her church, worship and loved family gatherings. She will surely set up a BINGO hall for game players in heaven and continue her favorite Saturday pastime with friends and family.
