Hallock Council changes gas meter, usage rates

The Hallock City Council approved raises for a city employee, the administrator and deputy clerk during a special meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
The council approved 4-1 increasing gas rates by 10%. The base rate meter charge will go from $4.25 for residential and $4 for commercial, to $6 for each meter. This will then include $1.05 per ccf for gas usage on a residential home and $1 per ccf for commercial properties. Councilor Mike Totleben was the nay vote.
