Stanley John Kraska, 91

Stanley John Kraska, 91, Lancaster, Minn. passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Kittson Memorial Health-care Center, Hallock, Minn.
Stanley was born on the family farm near Orleans, Minn., October 16, 1924 the son of John and Josie (Charneski) Kraska. He attended country school and farmed in Richardville Township.
On September 29, 1951 he was united in marriage to Eleanor Graboski at Tolstoi, Manitoba, Canada. They farmed in Richardville and St. Joseph Townships for many years. In addition to farming, Stanley worked at Motor Coach Industries in Pembina, N.D., for 19 years. He retired in 1986. Stanley and Eleanor moved into Lancaster in 2013. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Family members include his loving wife, Eleanor; a daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Mort, Blaine, Minn.; three sons, Doug (Kim) Kraska, Zimmerman, Minn.; Dwayne (Julie) Kraska, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; and Brian (Jillayne) Kraska, Hallock; 10 grandchildren, Krista, Kyle, Logan, Tyler, Jordan, Blaine, Desirae, Nichole, Greg and Tayler; four great grandchildren, Makayla, Mason, MaKenna and Brooklyn; as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo; and six sisters, Frances, Bernice, Agnes, Margie, Pauline and Anne.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, rural Lancaster. Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Fr. Craig Vasek, presided; Judy Kukowski, organist; Jillayne Kraska and Karen Vold, duet. Casket beares were Stanley’s grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Hallock and for one hour prior to services on Saturday.
