Almae Ernestine Anderson Larson, 77

Almae Ernestine Anderson Larson, 77, passed away in a Northern Nevada Medical Center in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 22, 2021.
Almae was born Dec. 20, 1943, to Ernest and Alma Anderson from Hallock, Minn. She was the fourth of five children, with sister Donna, and brothers Charles, LaMar and David Anderson. Almae attended school in Hallock through high school.
She married Oliven John Larson in 1961. John passed away in February 2011.
Almae majored in art at Moorhead State University and the University of Minnesota, receiving her MFA from the University of Minnesota. She taught photography at the Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester, Minn.
Almae and John had three children David John Larson, Derek Larson (married to Julia Larson) and Julie Jackson (married to Bruce Jackson). Almae and John were also blessed to have eight grandchildren: Brandon, Shilo, Marissa, Kylee, Luke, Chelsea, Christina and Erica.
Almae is survived by her children; grandchildren; sister, Donna Teien; and brother, David Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and brothers, LaMar and Charles Anderson.
Almae will be remembered as a very creative artist and photographer.
A service and burial will be in the spring of 2022 in the Fargo/Moorhead area.
