Bearcat girls add two more to the win column

KCC finally had a chance to get back on their home floor Monday, Jan. 5 in Lancaster against the Northern Freeze. It was the first head-to-head matchup of the season for the two conference foes.
The Bearcats wasted little time in setting the tone for the evening. KCC sprinted out of the gate and jumped out to an 11-0 lead. They attacked the basket after turnovers and rebounds and kept their foot on the accelerator. The Bearcats poured in 38 first-half points while only surrendering 14 points to their opponent.
The story did not change in the second half of play other than that the game hit running time over the last nine minutes of play and as a result limits the number of possessions over that time frame. KCC still managed to dump in 29 second-half points and again held the Freeze in check only allowing 9 second half points.
