Rose Olsonoski, 84

Rose Olsonoski, 84, Lancaster, Minn., passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock, Minn., Sunday, March 12, 2017.
Rose Agnes Gaetz was born Feb. 13, 1933 in Tolstoi, Manitoba, Canada to Adam and Mary Gaetz. She grew up near Tolstoi and attended country school.
On April 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Edward Olsonoski at Holy Trinity Church in Tolstoi. They farmed near Orleans, Minn., until 1959 when they moved to Minneapolis. Rose worked at Flour City Box Company until 1976 when they moved back to Lancaster. Ed passed away Oct. 2, 2009.
Rose was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie (Sandra) Olsonoski, Brooklyn Park, Minn.; grandchildren, Laura (Mark) Hogberg, Annandale, Minn., Michael (Stephanie) Olsonoski, Montrose, Minn., and Tracy (Ben) Leupke, Plymouth, Minn.; great grandchildren, Noelle, Raquel, Gavin, Bailey and Remi; sisters, Vera, Sally and Florence and brothers, Eugene, Leonard and Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Margaret, Victoria, Bernice and Walter.
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3 p.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, rural Lancaster. Visitation was held for one hour prior to the service. Interment was in the church cemetery. Fr. Craig Vasek, presiding; Sharlene Klegstad, organist.
Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock, was in charge of the arrangements.
